چکیده

We report the results of a careful expenmental investigation of trie Cu site configurations in the Cu02 Plane of B12Sr2CaCu208+y (B12212) showing tbat trie quasi 2D Fermi liquid is confined in trie stripes of width L with a superlattice period

تشدید شکل فشباخ برای جفت شدگی Tc بالا در ابرشبکه‌های نوارهای کوانتمی و چاههای کوانتمی

The Feshbach shape resonances in the interband pairing in superconducting superlattices of quantum wells or quantum stripes is shown to provide the mechanism for high Tc superconductivity. This mechanism provides the Tc amplification driven by the architecture of material: superlattices of quantum wells (intercalated graphite or diborides) and superlattices of quantum stripes (doped high Tc c...

Thermal properties of gauge fields common to anyon superconductors and spin liquids.

The thermally driven confinement-deconfinement transition exhibited by lattice quantum electrodynamics in two space dimensions is re-examined in the context of the statistical gauge-fields common to anyon superconductors and to spin-liquids. Particle-hole excitations in both systems are bound by a confining string at temperatures below the transition temperature Tc. We argue that Tc coincides w...

Pseudogap phenomena in ultracold atomic Fermi gases

The pairing and superfluid phenomena in a two-component ultracold atomic Fermi gas is an analogue of Cooper pairing and superconductivity in an electron system, in particular, the high Tc superconductors. Owing to the various tunable parameters that have been made accessible experimentally in recent years, atomic Fermi gases can be explored as a prototype or quantum simulator of superconductors...

The Zeno effect and an inter-layer pairing mechanism for high-temperature superconductivity in layered materials

Quantum Zeno Effect (QZE) is the suppression of the inter-subspace transition by a relatively fast intra-subspace decoherence. Earlier, we had proposed a QZE-based mechanism for the temperature-dependent normal-state c-axis resistivity of the layered high-Tc cuprate superconductors in which the singleparticle inter-layer tunneling is blocked by the strong intra-layer decoherence (entanglement)....

Bosonic versus fermionic pairs of topological spin defects in monolayered high-Tc superconductors

The energy associated with bosonic and fermionic pairs of topological spin defects in doped antiferromagnetic quantum spin-1 /2 square lattice is estimated within a resonating valence bond scenario, as described by a t-t -J-like model Hamiltonian, plus a t , responsible of a three-dimensional screening of the electrostatic repulsion within the bosonic pairs. For parameters appropriate for monol...
